On the honourary occasion of Kuvempu’s centenary birthday we at Aviratha had organized cultural competitions  for students of all ages. This event was conducted on the 23^rd of Oct 2004 at KPTCL school campus near SJRC College, Bangalore.

 For secondary and high school studentsEvent: Group song singing Competition

 For college studentsEvent: Mono-Acting performance for the varied roles that appear in the selected plays of Kuvempu. 

As a special event there was Essay writing for General PublicEvent: Essay WritingTopic: “Kuvempu Matthu Vaichaarikathe Indina Prastuthate”, meaning “Kuvempu’s ideas, ideology in the Globalized Contemporary World”. 

The winners were awarded the prizes as a part of the Centenary birthday celebrations held at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bangalore on the 29^th of December 2004.
